ok, today my sweet little cousin renee asked me "what the term 'maverick' meant and why are they giving that title to john mccain". well... it was all i could do to bite my tongue and describe my def of the title "maverick".

here it goes...

...in john mccain's case, a "maverick" is someone who feeds on individualism by stirring the pot in order to get what he needs when his appeal is running low. he creates a 'deflection'...presented to the masses in order to 'gain' momentum, while hiding his own inadequacies. in other words, "Maverick" as it relates to john mccain is synonymous with "Pot Stirrer"......hence the rise of gov. sarah palin!

apparently this isn't the first time he's been coined this phrase. this is how he operates...from the military to his second marriage. what amazes me is how the GOP and the right winged folks are swayed by this type of psuedo cowboy patriotism! america get a grip!!!! .....but, ohhhh...my bad...i now remember that quote from H.L. Mencken, "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people"
