check out my Pseudo Panini! i created my own recipe for a panini today on my geo. foreman grill, and since no one believes i cook, i thought i'd post it (smiles).

"Pseudo Panini" cast & characters:

2 slices of ciabatta bread (sliced lengthwise)
extra virgin olive oil
green gourmet garlic (less pungent than the cloves)
tomatoes
black olives
asparagus
turkey pastrami
gruyere cheese slices

first, i sauteed the sliced garlic and asparagus in the olive oil - then i brushed the 2 slices of ciabatta with the saute drippings - and finally, i made my sandwich with all the hot and cold fixins', loaded it onto the "buttered" lean mean fat grillin' machine....and voila..it's a psuedo panini! it was delish, but next time i'll use a little more flava, bcuz somehow i'm still hungry!
