ok, so i had a little bit of a fiasco in the kitchen today......

lord have mercy on my skillz! cast & characters, jumbo shrimp! today was my first time peeling and frying shrimp, and i must say it will be the last! i really don't know what came over me. Knowing i have a weak stomach, i didn't quite comprehend that i would have to peel, pull off legs and de-vein the shrimp when i bought them. that in itself was enough to call for pizza! during this extraordinary task, i kept wondering why do some of the shrimp have veins and the others don't. (the ones without got tossed, as i was sure they were mutants) nonetheless, i conquered yet another dish, including a side of red beans and rice, and if it weren't for it feeling like i was dissecting amphibians - i would have enjoyed it even more! ...by the way, the kitchen should be an absolute joy to clean, don't u think?!
