{...54 days into the new year}

...you know how u think u finally got it right? say it's new year's eve, the clock ticks midnight and you've got your entire year planned out to a tee! ...well there i was, with my beautifully handwritten life atlas; bulleting all of the wonderful things i was planning for the new year, when just 54 days into it, i had become yet another hidden casualty of america's big fat recession! so much for being a visionary, right? not only did i not see it coming, i was not at all prepared. however, if you ask me was i prepared for a fabulously planned trip to the carribean, a couple of vacays to new york, a shiny new ride, hair appointments and even a little dental work, i coulda given you the month, date and time! ...so there i was...dazed...angry...offended and left wide open! tracking my monthly expenditures had now turned into tracking america's layoff's! but for those of you who don't know......i got a new gig last week!!! and starting this new gig leaves very little time for blogging...so my apologies are in order in advance!! i know many of you read the blog on a daily basis & as much as i will try to add a little sumthin' here and there, it may be a little tough during the next couple of weeks. but no worries...with all the madness of catchin' that icky train & dealing with your cousins at work (y'all kno who i mean)...i am sure to have lotsa stories! stay tuned...
