'a year from now you may wish you had started today' by Karen Lamb

to all who routinely visit my blog, please take a look at this video (with sound) CLICK HERE!!! now i know that most of u are thinking...."them folks is crazy" (y'all kno who u are...wink), but besides makin' me fall outta my chair in tears, the message I got went a little deeper.

"some" of us spend the majority of our mornings like this: get up, take a shower, check the weather, match this n' that, bless out the traffic & stop for coffee, all to feel better about your morning when you find the right spot in that architecturally ill-designed garage ...okay, here comes that uneasy feeling of dread in your tummy as you start a job you don't like to work with someone you can't stand to buy the things you don't use and look good in the things that nobody sees. and as u ride the elevator up, you wonder "i couldn't possibly be the only one in here dreading these next 9 hours, can i?" you then go to meetings that you don't follow, and doodle the names of past loves while thinking of foods you don't need while mapquesting yr route inside your head...and TADA IT'S LUNCH TIME! so u spend the next 10 minutes wasting valuable time losing the only thing that made you feel good about the morning in the first place, YOUR PARKING SPOT...and the rest of the day is just a blurrrr.

although the hilarious video has nothing to do with going to work, it has everything to do with altering your state! ...now if you're happy with that routine...then cool, but if not then modify it and create movement!!! just like the guy dancing, you will never know what may follow unless you give it a try! take it from someone who once had that routine and due to what they called a "workforce reduction" a.k.a "blessing in disquise", that stale ass routine is now the most unwelcomed routine i'll get caught up in!! now don't get me wrong, we all have to earn a living (especially now)...but while you're at it, try planning your life and not just your day.

KHALI'S LIST!
1. TAKE INVENTORY & PRIORITIZE
2. FIND BALANCE
3. CREATE NEW ENERGY & WATCH WHAT HAPPENS
4. CREATE A CIRCLE OF SUPPORT
4. HAVE A PLAN
