(nieces & nephews in their crocs)

oh, to be a child again...
during a slight meltdown this week, i was reminded by a 7 & 12 year old little girl that the world was my oyster! as i was having an encouraging conversation with the little girls’ mother, both little girls suddenly decided to join in (as they usually do) : )! they heard their mother offering advice on how to do what i love, and decided to give me their own entrepreneurial counsel! …so one after the other & sometimes simultaneously, they proceeded to create a plan for me. now i must admit that it wasn’t long before I found myself really listening to two “miniature tonyrob.bins”! the 7 yr old proceeded to tell me about her new business, giving massages to her parents & cousins for a penny a minute! she even continued to explain how she’s set up a make shift changing room and how she offers teas & fruits for the health conscious family members. as i was soaking up all of her enthusiasm, her sister (the 12 yr old) jumps in to remind me that she would jump at the chance to buy my jewelry if i made some or even work in my boutique. BOUTIQUE, I thought? this little girl is not only setting the bar high for me, but she also has no fear in setting me up with real estate!!!
well…it wasn’t long before i forgot about my original meltdown and realized who was now on my list for encouragement! (smiles) out of the mouth of babes, these little girls’ courage, ingenuity & innocence dispelled any unfounded vibe i may have been feeling.
they are now definitely on my list for back-up! : )

It's often said that when receiving good advise, even if from a child. We and I really mean us. All walk away feeling a bit more empowered, but as soon as adult doubt creeps in. We and I do mean us, start to count and weight the cost...what a shame...and I do mean me...
